
Alertisys offers you the tools to affectively manage your monitoring options by remotely logging into our web based command console. Setting up notification schedules allows you to specify which employees of your company should be notified at which day/times that you want them "on call". In addition to scheduling notification contacts, you can also set up escalation rules based on severity of an error on the monitored device or by the duration that the device has been on error. Standard with all our packages is a post resolution summary that is sent to the executive management of your organization, supervisors, or whomever you specify. The program will detail for them which device was on-error, how long it was on error, and any suggestions our technicians have to prevent the problem from reoccurring in the future.

- Our system will monitor your web site to ensure it is up and running. The frequency of the checks can be from 1 to 60 times per hour if you are utilizing ASP, Cold Fusion, PHP or any other dynamic pages Alertisys can test to ensure the proper information is being returned. If you are utilizing a Secure Server, the system will verify that your secure certificate is also valid and the proper information is being returned to users viewing the page. This service can be used with any type of pages your website contains. This monitor is set up to detect and return specific conditions related to webpage conditions (e.g., 404's, 500's, etc). Customization Features: Set up custom escalations and notifications based on results returned. Ability to define custom errors based on your specific ASP or other scripting code. - Checks for Key Words / Page Crawler
- Alertisys systems can check your web pages to make sure certain words exist on the pages that are pulled. If the words are ever missing from the target URL that is being monitored an alert condition will be created. Customization Features: specify and change the words to be searched for in the Command Console. Ability to set specific notification and escalation rules based on words found or missing.

Mail Server / Email Address Monitoring
- Ever wonder why you are not receiving email or it is getting to you extremely slow? Not anymore, our system will monitor the operations of your mail system to verify that it is accepting mail and running efficiently. Note: Even if you do not have your own mail server, we can monitor on your behalf the mail system that is processing your email and where your email address resides to notify you in the event of a problem.

- Our system can monitor your Router or Network Interface for errors or slow down problems that may be slowing down your network or access to your network. - Our system will monitor the time that it takes to connect to your device or system and receive a response in order to test the latency on the device between our system and yours. If there is an error, then we have other monitoring centers run the same test from a geographically different location. If the latency is out of the acceptable limits for more than one of the stations then we will send out a notification alert. Customization Features: Ability to set the threshold of acceptable latency. Ability to associate latency errors with escalation and notification rules. - When there is an error connecting to your device, our system will run an Auto-Trace to track every connection (or hop) between our monitoring system and the device being monitored to narrow down where the problem resides. The task will then be propagated to other monitoring centers to double check the results from other geographic origination points.

- Within the Notification Schedules you can set methods for notifying your contacts. Contacts can be scheduled based on the time of day and the day of week. Methods by which they are notified can also vary based on the time of day and day of week. Below is a list of methods that can be set for your contacts to be notified.

- Whenever your device goes on error, Alertisys will email you the detailed error from our Extensive Error Condition Dictionary. If the error is a custom error that has been specifically set up for your device, we will send the information that you specified in the custom error description. Error reporting then makes each of these available in a report where you can see a history of all the errors and when the device or service was on and off each error and the duration of each status change.

- Alertisys is constantly working to expand our "constellation" of monitoring centers to geographically cover the nation. Alertisys has written an extremely powerful, proprietary system which allows each of our monitoring systems to act independently but also as a single system. Using a complex system of delegation and self-diagnosis it can detect problems with a member system and take necessary actions to automatically propagate task to other systems in the network to take over the troubled systems task. When a problem is detected by a system, that system will delegate the same task to other monitoring systems in a geographically different area to verify its findings before alerting to an error condition.
