Alertisys creates packages targeted towards law and accounting firms
Its not just websites that need to stay up anymore

March 26, 2002 - Fresno, California.  Alertisys has just announced service packages targeting Law Firms, Accounting Firms and other industries that do a lot of email attachments.

"Often times people associate losing money from system outages to companies that do e-commerce or other sales based activity on the internet.  However, just as important (and detrimental to the bottom-line) are email attachments that don't make it to their respective destination.  More and more accounting and law firms are using email attachments as the preferred method to communicate and send legal agreements or word documents to their clients and associates.  When their email servers are down, it literally could bring the organization to a screeching halt, You might as well close and lock the front door of their office," said Matt Johnson, Chief Technology Officer for Alertisys.

Realizing this possibility, Alertisys has created a variety of packages that can not only monitor Mail Servers for connectivity but can also verify that your mail server application such as Lotus Notes or Microsoft Exchange is running efficiently and accepting as well as sending e-mail.

"Most importantly for people to know is that even if they don't have an internal mail server in their organization, we can still monitor the system even if it is with their ISP," Johnson concluded.
