Alertisys receives technology and funding from AltaPacific Technology Group, Inc.
Fresno based technology firm builds underlying technology for Alertisys, Inc.

March 5, 2002 - Fresno, California.  AltaPacific Technology Group, Inc., a leading internet and network application development firm, has recently taken an active interest in Alertisys, Inc.'s vision of partnering with companies to offer technology monitoring for their critical systems.  "As businesses' reliance on computer systems grows, I believe the types of services offered by Alertisys will become common place in every company" said Pete Metson, CEO of AltaPacific Technology Group, "Alertisys has successfully utilized technologies that allow for combinations of logic and rules to be used in the decision process when a networked device goes on error or is down.  To date, we have not seen anything as scalable and customizable as the solutions offered through this service."

Alertisys specializes in the monitoring and diagnosing of remote systems including routers, mainframes, servers and websites.  

"The rules based notification systems allows for clients to specify what constitutes the severity of a given error and which individual in the organization to notify. The system will then take that information and compare it to any number of contacts schedules to identify the methods of notification to use based on time of day or day of week and proceeds to notify them." Metson believes that AltaPacific can contribute to Alertisys' success by shortening the time to market for much of the programming development needed to implement the service.
